The Seahawks Swim Team welcomes children from 4 to 18 to join the team for a summer of fun and excitement. We offer training and competition for all ages and swimming ability.

Join us May 6th at Potomac Pizza in the Village for a fundraiser for the swim team! Potomac Pizza will give 20% back to the swim team and all are welcome. See the flyer for details on ordering! Team Reps and Coaches will be around throughout the night and more specifically Coach Chelsea will be there after about 430 or 5PM. Thanks for supporting our MSC Seahawks!

Our goal is to make summer swimming an enjoyable athletic experience for the whole family. We aim to create a fun environment while developing stroke skills, endurance, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. With hard work comes success - be it making it across the length of the pool to participating in the Allstar Meet at the end of the season.
To accommodate the wide range of experience among our 8 & under swimmers, we also have a pre-team program. Special pre-team practices give more attention to younger swimmers at the early stages of their development.
Girls and boys compete in their own age groups, to improve their swimming skills and most importantly, to have fun. In addition to the season-ending Awards Banquet, we are have a full schedule of social events including activities like spirit nights and movie nights.

Meet the New Head Coach, Chelsea Hubble
We are excited to introduce Chelsea Hubble, our new Head Coach for the 2026 season!
Chelsea began coaching on her summer swim team, the Brunswick River Rapids, where she coached all age groups for nine consecutive seasons.
In 2023, she took a role as a program lead with the Capitol Sea Devils, leading age groups with swimmers from 8 to 18 years old.
In 2024, she led the middle school program at Sidwell Friends, before settling into a Varsity head coach position at Georgetown Day School.
As a previous competitive swimmer Chelsea understands the highs and lows of swimming, and relishes in the opportunity to give swimmers kind words, detailed feedback, and so many cheers. She is excited to get back into summer swim and we are excited to welcome Chelsea as a Seahawk!

Spirit Nights
This year there will be 4 spirit nights and 2 pep rallies. These events be held on Thursday evenings.
On June 11th and July 2nd, we will have a pep rally instead of a full spirit night which will include a simple activity and a treat. The other Thursdays (June 18th, 25th and July 9th and 16th) will be typical spirit nights with dinner and an activity.
