(https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/HHS/LandR/SwimmingPools.html) and (https://health.maryland.gov/qahealth/environmental-
health/Pages/Swimming-Pools.aspx)
The following rules are highlighted to ensure a safe pool and enjoyable
pool environment. These rules and regulations have been established for the benefit and protection of the members of the Swim Club and their guests. Failure to comply may result in serious injury to yourself or someone else, loss of privileges, and penalties such as a written warning, suspension, and/or revocation of membership.
1. Any member, who litters, vandalizes or causes malicious mischief in or on pool property will immediately rectify the damage, pay all costs necessary to rectify any damage, and/or accept suspension or revocation of individual or family membership.
2. Any violation of these rules and regulations or any illegal activity upon pool property will result in immediate suspension of the offender. Two suspensions will be grounds for seasonal revocation or loss of family membership without refund.
3. While lifeguards are tasked with enforcing rules and order at the pool, all attendees are required to maintain and encourage a respectful and safe swim club. Lifeguards have the authority to have members who are not following the rules sit out for a swim period.
