Let's Go Seahawks!!
_The
Seahawks Swim Team welcomes children from 5 to 18 to join the team for a
summer of fun and excitement. We offer training and competition for all
ages and swimming ability.
Seahawks Swim Team is a member of the Montgomery County Swim League, a summer league made up of around 90 teams from around the county grouped into 15 divisions. The Seahawks will compete in Division L this season. The competitive season consists of five dual A meets, a Relay Carnival, and a Divisional Championship. Five less formal B meets provide competition for swimmers of all skill levels.

Our goal is to make summer swimming an enjoyable athletic experience for the whole family. We aim to create a fun environment while developing stroke skills, endurance, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. With hard work comes success - be it making it across the length of the pool to participating in the Allstar Meet at the end of the season.
To accommodate the wide range of experience among our 8 & under swimmers, we also have a pre-team program. Special pre-team practices give more attention to younger swimmers at the early stages of their development.
Girls and boys compete in their own age groups, to improve their swimming skills and most importantly, to have fun. In addition to the season-ending Awards Banquet, we are have a full schedule of Social Events including activities like the Spirit Nights, Bingo, Movie Night, Dessert Contest and an Ice Cream Party.
The swim team is run by volunteers, overseen by the swim team committee working closely with the elected Board of Directors. Families are encouraged to be involved in all swim team activities.
The 2012 Swim Team Committee is headed by Anamika Krishna-Rogers. For further information on the Swim Team please contact Anamika at krishnarogers1@verizon.net
